The Embraer Legacy 650 is a midsize business jet designed and manufactured by Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer. The Legacy 650 is a long range version of the Legacy 600, with a maximum range of more than 3,900 nautical miles. Other improvements on the 600 include more thrust, higher fuel capacity, larger take off weight, and the Honeywell Primus Elite avionics system. The aircraft is powered by two Rolls-Royce AE 3007A2 engines which provide 9,020 pounds of force and allow it to travel at a top speed of 516 knots. It is a relatively fuel efficient aircraft, getting nearly three nautical miles per gallon. Assembly of the Legacy 650 was carried out through a joint venture with Embraer and Aviation Industry Corp., a Chinese aerospace and defense conglomerate.
