The Bell 206 JetRanger is a variant model within the series of Bell 206 multipurpose utility helicopters. Produced by the manufacturer Bell Helicopter over the years between 1962 and 2017, approximately 7,300 units were built and serve a variety of civil and military operators. The JetRanger serves as a redesign of the base 206 model after it was not chosen for the United States Army's Light Observation Helicopter program in 1960. With the redesign of the original prototype, the JetRanger brought a new fuselage, complete with more spacious seating and cargo space.
