The Gulfstream G280 is a business jet that is built by Israel Aerospace Industries for Gulfstream Aerospace. First beginning development in 2009, around 200 units have been produced as of the present. Many units are in active service under various global operators, and the series acts as a follow-up to the previous Gulfstream G200 model. As compared to its predecessor, the Gulfstream G280 introduced a glass cockpit, improved engines, larger wings, and heated leading edges. With a maximum travel range of 3,600 nautical miles at Mach 0.80, the G280 is feasible for trips between London and New York, Singapore and Dubai, and many other intercontinental destinations for business needs.

For its improved engines over the G200, the Gulfstream G280 features two Honeywell HTF7250G
turbofan engines that produce 7,624 pound-force each, enabling a cruise speed of 459 knots. The aircraft’s large travel range is due in part to its fuel tank capacity of 2,180 gallons, and it operates with an average fuel economy of 1.56 nautical miles per gallon. The cockpit of the G280 features Rockwell Collins ProLine Fusion avionics, and two crew members are required for the operation of the aircraft. Meanwhile, up to 10 passengers may be situated across executive style seating in the main cabin.
