The Epic Elite is a very light twin engine jet designed and manufactured by American aircraft manufacturer Epic Aircraft. The aircraft was initially intended to be a kit aircraft which would be certified later. Epic’s plan was to utilize the fuselage from their LT aircraft and only make minor cosmetic and structural changes. Many prototypes have been developed, though full-scale development of the aircraft has not begun.

The company was founded in 2004 after being granted public incentives such as state loans and grants. In return for the financial injection, Epic pledged to create 4,000 jobs. The company is now owned by Russian aircraft manufacturer S7 Technics, who purchased it in 2011 in order to help the company acquire type certification for their LT aircraft.
