Sikorsky Aircraft, the Seahawk and its variants have been in production since 1979, and over 900 units have been built to date. Still in active service, many Seahawk units currently operate under users such as the United States Navy, Royal Australian Navy, Turkish Naval Forces, and Spanish Navy. Development of the MH-60 Seahawk in particular began in 1993, and it was designed as a combination of both the SH-60B and SH-60F.
