Cessna 206
The Cessna 206 is a light aircraft that belongs to the Stationair family of general aviation aircraft. The Stationair family was introduced by Cessna in 1962, and it came about as a development from the Cessna 210 model. Produced from the years of 1962-1986 and 1998-present, over 8,500 units were built, many of which are still in active service under various civil, government, and military operators. The Cessna 206 served as the second addition to the Stationair family, first being introduced in 1964 and later beginning production in 1986. Reintroduced in 1998, the Cessna 206 still remains in production with more than 6,500 units being built as of 2004.
