We, at ASAP Semiconductor, pride ourselves in carrying a broad range of parts and equipment, both current and obsolete. Through our proprietary website ASAP-Aerospace, you will be able to locate a plethora of parts using part numbers and National Stock Numbers (NSN).National Stock Numbers are a 13-digit code that identifies all of the “standardized material items of supply” as they have been recognized by all NATO countries. Each NSN consist of a 4-digit Federal Supply Groups Code (FSGC) and a 9 Digit National Item Identification Number (NIIN). The FSGC breaks down further to a 2-digit Federal Supply Group (FSG) and a 2-digit Federal Supply Code (FSC). The FSGC consists of the first four digits in the NSN and assists with classifying and identifying parts and equipment that is used by the United States Government. The Defense Logistics Agency regulates the proper classification of each item.
Here at ASAP Semiconductor, we recognize the importance of distinguishing which FSCs apply to each and every product. We carry parts in over thirty FSGs and hundreds of FSCs that are recognized by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Federal Supply Group 15 encompasses all aircraft and airframe structural components. This is a very broad group, which includes:
Fixed Wing Aircrafts includes all aircrafts that flies utilizing a set of wings. ASAP Semiconductor provides support for the entire array of planes, from larger aircrafts like the Boeing 747 and Airbus A320 to smaller personal aircrafts such as the Hawker Beechcraft King Air B200, Cessna 560, and many others.
Rotary Wing Aircrafts are helicopters and other aircrafts that utilize a set of blades. We supply parts that support leading helicopter manufacturers such as Bell Textron, Sikorsky, MD Helicopters, and even Agusta Westland.
Gliders are unpowered aircrafts which stay airborne using naturally occurring currents of rising air.
Though not as common in to see flying in the United States, we support our troops by supplying parts for the drones operating worldwide.
Space travel requires even more quality control that air travel, which is why NASA comes to for their parts requests.
This includes fabricated system parts which are attached to the primary airframe of an aircraft. These could range from a complete gyro box assembly manufactured by the Boeing Company, to an aircraft fairing fabricated by the Eaton Corporation.
You will be able to find a comprehensive inventory list of National Stock Numbers which fall within the Federal Supply Code of Aircraft and Airframe Structural Components right here, at ASAP-Aerospace.
