The Premier IA is a variation of the Premier I, a light business jet that is manufactured by Beechcraft to compete with the Cessna CitationJet series of aircraft. Over its production years between 2001 and 2012, over 290 units were built, many remaining active to this day. Currently, there are three variants of the Premier, including the Premier I, Premier IA, and the Premier II. The Premier IA released with improved systems and an upgraded cabin, and the Premier II further upgraded the series with new engines, wingtips, and an increased range with no extra fuel.

In regards to the Premier IA, one crew member may pilot the aircraft while 6-7 passengers are transported. For its engine configuration, the Beechcraft Premier IA has two Williams Int. FJ44-2A turbofan engines, producing 2,300 pound-force to travel at a maximum cruise speed of 451 knots.
