The Pilatus PC-7 MK II is a variant of the Pilatus PC-7 Turbo Trainer, a light trainer aircraft designed and manufactured by Pilatus Aircraft. As compared to the PC-7 base model, the MK II utilizes the airframe and avionics of the PC-9, a different engine, and various other changes. As a series, the Pilatus PC-7 Turbo Trainer and its variants have been in production since 1966, and over 600 units have been produced to date. The series was first derived from the preceding Pilatus P-3 model, introducing a turboprop engine, one-piece wing, and bubble canopy.
