Beechcraft Announces King Air C90GTx Upgrades

Beginning in Quarter 4 of 2014, the Beechcraft King Air C90GTx will now offer new standard features, providing an overall increase in performance. The King Air C90GTx is Beechcraft’s entry level twin turboprop family of aircrafts. Since its introduction in 1964, the King Air family is now the one of the most popular and widely used small aircrafts in the world.

On October 20, 2014, Beechcraft announced at the National Business Aviation Association Convention & Exhibition, new features that will give the King Air C90GTx shorter takeoff and landing distances, better handling characteristics, and enhanced passenger experience. Climb and landing performance is enhanced through the addition of Raisbeck Engineering’s swept blade propellers and dual aft body strakes. The standard upgrades will shorten takeoff distance by nearly 600 feet. Handling has been improved with the addition of dual aft body strakes which improve stability, passenger ride quality, and handling. Other improvements include a new high speed nose gear tire and an upgraded Collins Pro Line 21 flight display.
