This original concept is termed the Missile Approach Confirmation Sensor (MACS). Its low FAR level allows the AMPS-MV system to comply with the European Aviation Safety Agency and Federal Aviation Administration’s regulations. The system is also able to be installed in civil and military platforms which make it a unique component.
